Four key points for simple, easy and quick installation

1. The choice of the decor

Create a universe with your fire! Invent your personalised hearth. Marble plate, fine steel, freestone, etc. You can embed our fireplace insert in a style of your choice. This is in fact the most important task of the creation of your hearth. Ask for a professional that can guide you in the choice of the design and its realisation.
The perfect modularity of these modern devices allows you the creation of personalized fireplaces.

2. Power supply

An electronic board, a pump and the safety detectors are required to connect your burner to a socket (110-230V). The consumption is minimal. The device works on 12V. It is supplied with an adapter (100-240 V – 12V). Connect this adapter to any existing power socket. If you wish, embed electric wires to connect the insert within the opening.

3. Implementation of the insert

A few minutes are sufficient to insert the bio fire insert, once your surround is created. It is a straightforward process. Connect the device and slide it into the opening created. Installation is now complete.
The insert is cold (except for the burning tank and the upper part of the ethanol burner where the flame develops); therefore, it is possible to embed it in different types of material. Attention, the frame on the burner has to be realised with non-flammable materials.

4. Filling of the burner and ignition

Press the unlock button of the tank hatch. Remove the cap and fill using a funnel. As soon as the maximum level is reached, a beep sound will alert you thus avoiding an overflow. Then position the cap and close the hatch. This will lock automatically. That’s it! All that remains is to press the remote control button.
All AFIRE models are fitted with a remote control button on the top plate, remote control and a “dry contact” that enables “home automations” installations.
