Simple, Fast and Safe Installation
Installing an AFIRE ethanol fireplace is quick and usually takes only a few minutes. Our fireplaces are delivered ready to install and require no chimney, no gas connection and no complex construction work. Depending on the model selected, the fireplace simply needs to be positioned in its final location or securely mounted to the wall according to the installation instructions provided.
Before installation, we recommend carefully reading the installation and user manual supplied with your appliance. It contains essential information regarding safety, minimum clearances from surrounding materials and the optimal operating conditions of your bioethanol fireplace.

Key points for installing your AFIRE ethanol fireplace
1. Electronic Fireplaces with Advanced Safety Features
All AFIRE ethanol fireplaces are equipped with a remote control, integrated on/off controls and a dry contact for home automation systems. The entire operation of the fireplace is electronically managed and continuously monitored by multiple safety devices. In the event of abnormal operation, the appliance automatically shuts down to ensure maximum safety.
Safety and combustion performance are further enhanced by AFIRE's electronic fuel management system. An electric pump continuously supplies the burner while keeping the fuel tank separate from the combustion chamber. As a result, only a very small quantity of bioethanol is present in the burning area at any given time. The fuel is optimally oxygenated within an isolated combustion chamber, producing clean, stable and controlled flames.
2. Fireplace Installation: Power Supply
The electronic components of your fireplace and the fuel pump require a power supply. Energy consumption is extremely low and the burner operates on 12 V. Each AFIRE ethanol fireplace is supplied with a 100–240 V / 12 V power adapter that can be connected to any standard electrical outlet.
For a clean and professional installation, the power adapter and cables can be concealed within the fireplace surround or integrated into the wall structure. Cable management systems may also be used to ensure a discreet and aesthetically pleasing finish.
3. Installing the Fireplace
The most important step when installing an ethanol fireplace is securing the wall mounting bracket correctly. This bracket supports the entire weight of the fireplace and must therefore be firmly fixed using screws and wall plugs suitable for the type of wall. It is essential to check that the bracket is perfectly level before installation to ensure the fireplace is positioned correctly.
Once the bracket has been securely installed, simply connect the power adapter and place the fireplace onto its support. Your AFIRE ethanol fireplace is now installed and ready for use.
4. Filling the Fuel Tank and Starting the Fireplace
Press the tank hatch release button to unlock the fuel compartment. Remove the cap and fill the tank with bioethanol using a funnel. When the maximum filling level is reached, an audible signal will automatically alert you, preventing any risk of overflow.
Replace the cap and close the tank hatch. The hatch will automatically lock for safety. Your AFIRE ethanol fireplace is now ready for operation and can be started using either the remote control or the integrated controls on the appliance.
